I Met Someone

I met someone recently,
and she is free.

She laughs like a child,
and still plays 'let's pretend'.

She expects only kindness,
and fearlessly gives love.

She's proud and brave,
compassionate and strong.

She enjoys her life
with all it's ups and downs.

She sees mystery and beauty
everywhere she looks.

She is grateful
for the gift that is herself.
